Irene Adventure

In the face of Hurricane Irene, we opted for flight rather than fight, and enjoyed a weekend trip a few hours from home in Hagerstown, MD.

Our adventure included . . .

Listening to "Peter and the Wolf" in the car,
(Some parts were a little too intense for Ashlyn)

Swimming,

Napping,

Coloring,

Sleeping in big beds,

and little beds,

Eating out,
(Can you guess which restaurant we were at?)

Seeing Kelly and Ashley,
(Cousins of Russ who drove up from DC)

Playing Book of Mormon WHO,

and hiding our most valuable possessions in the hotel room safe.

When we returned home Monday afternoon we found that all was well and no damage had been done by Irene.
