Kaylee lost her first tooth about a year ago, and the second one came out a few weeks later.
Number three waited until June of this year, and wiggly number four (pictured below) hung on until the end of July.
Number five bit the dust after church today, with a little help from Dad and some dental floss.
The Burnett family tooth fairy trades out the old teeth for a crisp one dollar bill.
Apparently that's not quite good enough for Kaylee though, since the note she left under her pillow tonight requested a TEN dollar bill. I'm sorry to say, she will definitely be disappointed when she wakes up in the morning. :)
That was gutsy of her to even ask, way to go Kaylee!
ReplyDeleteYou might be in trouble if she's already asking for money. Is she a saver or a spender?
ReplyDeleteCute! I am guessing she is a saver like her mother.
ReplyDeleteSounds exactly like Bekah...only took two teeth before she was writing notes for the tooth fairy explaining how everyone in her class gets $1 or $5 or $10 and she only got 25 cents. It did go up to $1 the last tooth before the one that had to get pulled, which found a soft spot in the tooth fairy's heart as there were many tears of pain in the doctor's office and she was a brave little girl...with a mother who did not even prepare her for "this may hurt a little". I see your logic in asking Bekah to pay the tooth fairy for that tooth...but we hope it doesn't happen again.
