So, as was mentioned in a previous post, Ashlyn and Russ got to ring in the New Year in Chicago, where they visited with Doug, Emily and Baby Isaac, and also got to spend time with Russ's sister Nikki and her family.
Since I wasn't part of the trip. I can't give many details, but here are a few pictures they took:

Breakfast: shaped pancakes
Snack: Minion Cheese Nips, Minions cereal
AFTERNOON
Movie: Inside Out
Lunch: Pizza & Broccoli
Snack: Inside Out fruit snacks, jelly beans
EVENING
Movie: Cinderella
Dinner: pumpkin muffins & eggs
Snack: Midnight Milky Way
Not quite as fun as visiting family in Chicago, but we still managed to have a good time. :)
You always seem to plan fun activities. It looks like Russ and Ashlyn had a wonderful time.
