Vernal Equinox

Every year on the first day of Spring every Rita's location offers a FREE regular size water ice (if you've never been out to this area you probably have no idea what that is - just imagine a cross between a snow cone and a slurpee, only a zillion times tastier).

Once Kaylee returned from school this afternoon the girls and I headed over to wait in line. After only about a 30 minute wait we were on our way home with our delicious treats in lovely flavors like juicy pear, banana, blue raspberry and key lime. YUMMY!!!




This is one thing we will definitely miss when we move to Texas.

    Pretty sure they are not giving them to you for free because of the vernal equinox, but because it's your birthday! You're so lucky!

    Maybe we should open up a Rita's in Bryan, Texas! After all, I did manage a Corn Dog Factory a few years back.
