Aside from being sad when it was time to leave, we had a great time at the fair this year. We took the girls for the first time last summer, and they have been talking it up since then. Luckily, our visit this year did not disappoint.
They started out on the kiddie rides . . . boats, airplanes, teacups, carousel, etc. (We also went on the Ferris Wheel, but I decided it's not a good idea to put me and my non-belted-in children in something that goes so high up in the air.)
After making the rounds, Russ thought they'd be able to handle some of the intermediate rides (not quite ready for upside-down yet).
They (Kaylee) were nervous at first, but turned all smiles once things started up. I don't think they'll be going back to the baby rides next time. Somehow, teacups and carousels can't hold a candle to "Typhoons" and "Tornadoes".
Brenna got a taste of the easier rides this summer (her phrase of the evening was "I play too!")
. . . but she seemed to prefer the kettle corn and soda pop.
